Brief Description
In light of the Health Canada advisory about short supplies of Sinemet CR 200/50 and its generic counterpart Apo-Levocarb CR, here is a list of the patients who have been prescribed this drug since January 2009. Note that the short supply seems to only to apply to patients on this particular strength.
To expedite getting the list out, I did not have a chance to review charts for discontinued meds or patient deaths.
If it is helpful, your FHT pharmacists can contact these patients to make alternate arrangements if necessary, just let us know your preference.
